About Roma Autentica
Roma Autentica was founded by Marco Benedetti, a licensed art historian and certified tourism professional with 18 years of experience guiding international visitors through Rome. After earning his degree in Classical Studies from Sapienza University in 2006, Marco worked at the Vatican Museums and led excavation documentation at several archaeological sites before launching his independent guiding practice.
We specialize in deep-dive interpretive tours of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican Museums and Renaissance Rome. Our team speaks English, Italian, Spanish, French and German. We limit group sizes to 8 people per tour to ensure meaningful conversation and comfortable pacing. Every guide holds current professional credentials and participates in ongoing historical training to maintain accuracy and context.
